Running

Running has always been a means to an end for me.  I've never really enjoyed it, but a lot of the time, it is a simple exercise that lets me clear my mind and keep up my fitness.  I find myself running at lunch when work is particularly tough and to train for upcoming events where my normal level of fitness won't suffice.  Although it's far from my favorite form of exercise, it has strengthened me and has taken me to places I wouldn't have been able to reach without it.  I've also noticed a marked improvement in my running skill over the years.  Who knows: maybe I'll grow to like it someday.
